1. Eligibility
Participation is open to individuals aged 18 or older. Participants under 18 may join with a signed parental consent form. This hackathon is open globally to developers, designers, engineers, researchers, students, and technology enthusiasts.
- Employees of sponsors or organizing partners may participate but are not eligible for prizes.
- Each participant must register individually and agree to the terms and conditions of the event.
2. Team Formation
- Teams may consist of 1 to 5 members. Solo applicants will have the opportunity to join a team during the opening networking session.
- Cross-disciplinary teams are encouraged to promote diversity of thought and skillsets.
- Once formed, teams must register their final team name and members before development begins.
3. Allowed Technologies
- Participants may use any programming language, open-source libraries, public APIs, or their own proprietary tools, provided they have the rights to use them.
- All code must be written during the hackathon period, except for open-source frameworks or base templates.
- Solutions must incorporate at least one element related to biometrics, AI, machine learning, or robotics.
4. Time Limit
The hackathon duration is strictly limited to 24 hours, beginning at the official start time. Participants may brainstorm and outline ideas beforehand, but all coding, design, and build work must be completed within the official window. Teams should submit their projects via the official platform by the deadline, including all required documentation.
5. Submission Requirements
- Project title and description
- Technology stack used
- GitHub or repository link
- Demo video (max 3 minutes) or live demonstration
- Solution pitch slide deck (PPT, max 5 minutes)
Important: Late submissions will not be considered for judging.
6. Judging Criteria
- Innovation and originality – 25%
- Technical difficulty and execution – 25%
- Integration of biometric or AI technologies – 20%
- Design, usability, and user experience – 15%
- Presentation clarity and impact – 15%
Judges’ decisions are final and based on fair, transparent scoring.
7. Prizes
Winners will be announced at the Closing Ceremony. Prizes to be determined based on jury outcomes of Top 3 Winners.
8. Code of Conduct
- All participants are expected to uphold the highest standards of respect, inclusion, and professionalism.
- Harassment, discrimination, or abuse of any kind will not be tolerated.
9. Intellectual Property
- All work created during the hackathon remains the property of the creators.
- Participants grant the organizers the right to showcase projects in promotional content or post-event materials, with appropriate credit.
- Use of third-party content must comply with licensing and attribution rules.
10. Disqualification Grounds
- Plagiarism or code copying without attribution
- Submitting inappropriate or offensive content
- Violating the code of conduct
- Missing the final submission deadline
